Telugu film Sita Ramam is set for a digital debut soon. Hanu Raghavapudi wrote and directed the 2022 period musical love drama film Sita Ramam, which was produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema. The movie stars Rashmika Mandanna, Sumanth, Mrunal Thakur, who is making her Telugu debut, and Dulquer Salmaan.

Lieutenant Ram, an orphan army officer stationed at the Kashmir border, receives secret love letters from Sita Mahalakshmi in the year 1964. Ram is off to find Sita and confess his love to her. Amazon Prime Video purchased the film's digital distribution rights. As for the TV rights of the movie, nothing concrete has been revealed so far.

Sita Ramam OTT Release Date 

The movie will be available for digital streaming on Amazon Prime Video starting on September 9, 2022, in Telugu and dubs in Tamil and Malayalam.

The viewing of the film was prohibited in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. According to a News18 article, the restriction was imposed because the movie offended religious feelings. The restriction in the United Arab Emirates was later removed, and the film was released on August 11, 2022.
