One of the finest playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam has left us. The Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam breathed his last at 1:04 PM today, from filmstars to politicians everybody paid condolences at demise. Veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam died on Friday after battling with a COVID19. The singer was 74, from filmstar to political leaders all are paid tributes Film actors, directors, and other celebrities mourned his death on social media and called it an unimaginable loss for the music world. Among those who paid tributes were actors Mahesh Babu, Akshay Kumar politicians Arvind Kejriwal, Amit Shah, and others.

Akshay Kumar paid condolences he wrote "Deeply saddened to hear about the demise of Balasubrahmanyam ji. Just a few months back I’d interacted with him during a virtual concert in this lockdown..he seemed hale, hearty & his usual legendary self...life is truly unpredictable. My thoughts & prayers with his family #RIPSPB"

Politician Amit Shah paid condolences"Deeply saddened by the passing away of legendary musician and playback singer Padma Bhushan, S. P. Balasubrahmanyam ji. He will forever remain in our memories through his melodious voice & unparalleled music compositions. My condolences are with his family & followers. Om Shanti" 

South Indian actor Nani has paid tribute to SP Balasubrahmanyam: My heart is broken into a million songs! The only time I called home and told Anju to get Junnu to shoot was when I was shooting with Balu Garu .. told her he needs to have a picture with the Legend.  He will be celebrated as long as music lives!

Jr NTR has paid tribute to SP Balasubrahmanyam: "Indian Music has lost its favorite son. Devastated! In a Legendary career spanning over five decades, Padma Bhushan S.P Balasubrahmanyam Garu has breathed life into over 40,000 songs. As long as music exists in this universe, you will live on sir Folded hands" 

Mahesh Babu paid tribute: "Unable to process the fact that #SPBalasubramaniam Garu is no more. Nothing will ever come close to that soulful voice of his. Rest in peace, sir. Your legacy will live on. Heartfelt condolences and strength to the family Folded hands"

He is breathed his last at 1:04 PM (Friday). This is a great loss to the Music World. S.P. Balasubrahmanyam was hospitalized in Augustt at MGM Healthcare after testing positive for COVID-19 and although he reportedly did well initially, on September 7 he tested negative for COVID19 but continued on the ventilator. Veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, who had been in treatment at a private hospital in Chennai after testing positive for COVID-19 during the first week of August, passed away today after a long battle with the coronavirus.
