Liger Box Office Collection Day 12: Even Weekend Could Not Save Vijay's Liger!

Only the first two days of its release saw Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday earn in the double digits. While it started with slightly more than ₹15 crores on day one, the figures dropped to less than half on day two and have been declining since then. The "star power" couldn't entice the crowd, resulting in another Bollywood box office flop.

Liger's stats haven't been fantastic since day one. With each passing day, the temperature has dropped. Puri Jagannadh's highly awaited film, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, was released globally to rave reviews. The film, which is seen as Devarakonda's pan-India launch vehicle, has been embroiled in a boycott dispute.  The former plays the titular MMA fighter boxer in Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday's sports action flick. Vijay's first pan-India release is bilingual in Telugu and Hindi. Ananya, a Bollywood actress, is collaborating with a director and actors from the South Indian film industry for the first time. Liger also has important performances by Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, and Makarand Deshpande.
