ZEE5, a studio behemoth, paid an absurd amount for the OTT streaming rights to the film. The movie's theatrical, satellite, and TV rights were also purchased by Zee Studios. The movie will most likely have a TV premiere at Zee Cinema.

Karthikeya 2 OTT Release Date

Karthikeya 2 won't be available for streaming on OTT until six weeks from its theatrical premiere. Considering the film was released on 13 August 2022, one should expect the film to have an OTT & TV premiere in the last week of September 2022.

About The Film

The protagonist Karthikeya's search for the truth is the subject of the second book in the mystic thriller series. He learns about Lord Sri Krishna's Tatva and the power of conventional Indian religion. 

A Potential Sequel

Prior to the movie's release, Mondeti made a third Karthikeya announcement. According to Modeti in an interview with The New Indian Express, he wants to explore numerous stories of Karthikeya and want to develop it into a franchise. Karthikeya 2's concluding act prepares the audience for Karthikeya 3.
