Director Gopichand Malineni stated this after releasing the film's trailer, "The film's creators had requested that I only fund the film if I enjoyed the trailer. I saw it and assured them that the intention was good. Despite the fact that this is Gautham Krishna's debut film as a filmmaker, it looks like he did a fantastic job. He works as an actor and a director. He exudes a lot of intensity."

Talking about the film, Gautham Krishna said, "Because I didn't want the subject matter to lose its intensity at any cost, I directed the film myself. Without any assistance, I wrote the movie's 160-page script all by myself. This is the tale of a small child who experienced heartache."
