Shane Black is an American writer and director, best known for his work in action based films. His most successful films are Lethal Weapon (1987) and Lethal Weapon (1989). His other films include, The Last Boy Scout (1991), The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) and Last Action Hero (1993). He made his directorial debut with the film Kiss Kiss Band Band (2005).
