Olympic Games 2020 postponed to next year, Japanese PM consulting IOC announced

As breaking news is coming Japanese PM Sinjo Abe on Tuesday announced to postpone Olympic Games 2020 to next year. Consulting to IOC President Japan's prime minister (Shinzo Abe) announced the postponement of the Tokyo Olympics during talks with IOC president, Thomas Bach due to Coronavirus.

Shinzo Abe also said that he had confirmed today that he had asked the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for a one-year postponement of the Olympic Games, which were due to start on July 24, and International Olympic Committee (IOC)'s president agreed.

Yoshiro Mori, (the president of the Tokyo 2020 organizing committee), and Toshiro Muto (CEO) will give an update after their phone conversation with the IOC's President Thomas Bach.
On Sunday Shinzo Abe mentioned in his conversation that the postponement of the Olympics was 'Unavoidable'.

But on the same day, IOC mentioned in his conversation that the postponement of the Olympics was, 'cancellation is not on the agenda' and also said that athletes that it would not announce a formal decision for four weeks.
