Yashoda, directed by Hari-Harish, is a thriller about an underground mafia that uses underprivileged women as surrogate moms for wealthy childless parents. Things worsen when Yashoda (Samantha) realizes the danger she has put herself in.

Samantha has literally done all of the heavy liftings in the film, which has received mixed reviews. In addition to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, and Sampath Raj play important parts in Yashoda.
