WCR Station Master Jobs 2021: RRC 38 Posts Notification Released, Apply Before 25 July

RRC, West Central Railway has released GDCE notification for filling up 38 posts of Station Master under Notification 01/2021. The eligible candidates can apply for NTPC Notification 01/2021, General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE).

RRC, West Central Railway has released GDCE notification for filling up 38 posts of Station Master under Notification 01/2021. The eligible candidates can apply for NTPC Notification 01/2021, General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE). 

Candidates should be serving employees of West Central Railway till the formation of the Panel. Candidates, who will resign from WCR or transfer to another railway, will not be considered for empanelment. All regular employees possessing prescribed educational qualifications as indicated above, working in the 7th CPC Level lower than the Grade Pay/Scale for which GDCE is being conducted are eligible to appear in GDCE selection.

Before filling up the online application, candidates are advised to thoroughly read all the instructions and information in the notification available on the website of RRC www.wcr.indianrailways.gov.in. Applications are to be submitted “Online online” and through the RRC website www.wcr.indianrailways.gov.in (Path – About us-Recruitment-Railway Recruitment Cell- GDCE Notification No. 01/2021)

There shall be a single-stage computer-based test followed by an aptitude test for Station Master. Call letters for candidates will be released on its official website.

To download the city and date intimations, e-call letters, and travel authority (wherever applicable) from the links provided on the official websites of RRC. Shortlisting for the computer-based aptitude test (CBAT) shall be to the extent of 8 times the vacancies.

Age limit: The upper age limit will be 40 years for General candidates (UR), 45 years for SC/ST candidates and 43 years for OBC candidates. The lower and upper age limit indicated for the post(s) in the vacancy table will be reckoned as on 01.07.2021

There shall be negative marking for the incorrect answers in CBTs. Deduction of 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be made for each wrong answer, but there will be no negative marking in Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). 

The dates of examinations will also be published on the websites of RRC. The e-call letters for CBTs, Computer-based aptitude tests, and document verification. No call letter will be sent by post. The CBT Centre, date, and shift indicated in the e-call letter shall be final.
