WBPSC declares Civil Services (Prelims) result 2020, 4690 Candidates qualified for Main exam

West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has announced West Bengal Civil Services 2020 exam result at website. WBPSC Commission on Thursday, declares the Result of WBCS (Executive) Preliminary examination 2020 and shortlist the candidates qualified for the WBCS Main Exam 2020. A list of 4690 candidates qualifed for the WBCS Main examination along with the WBCS Prelims Cut off marks (Marks obtained by the last qualified candidate) has been published at website pscwbapplication.in.

Candidates who have appeared for the West Bengal Civil Services (Prelims) 2020 written examination can check the WBCS Prelims result/ Main exam eligible candidates against the advt no 22/2019. A candidate can view the WBCS Prelims Exam 2020 Cut off marks for respective category by logging to the official web site.

Taking to its website, West Bengal Commission on Thursday displays a list of 4690 qualified candidates for WBCS (Exe.) Examination 2020 (Main). The qualified candidates' list is published Roll No wise, category wise along with the remark. Concerned can view their result status / WBCS Prelims cut off marks for UR, SC, ST, OBC (A/B), PH (LV, HI and LD & CP) from pscwbapplication.in.

Earlier, Commission organized the West Bengal Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2020 on February 9, 2020. At allotted examination centres WB Civil Service Exam 2020 (Preliminary) conducted in a single shift (held from 12 noon to 2.30 pm). About 87 per cent students appeared for the WBCS Prelims Examination. The Advertisement against Notification (No.22 / 2019) for West Bengal Civil Service Examination 2020 was released in November 2019.

Following the evaluation process Commission on Sept 17, declared the WBCS Prelim result, shortlisting a total 4690 candidates for Mains exam. Candidates qualified for WBCS Main Examination 2020 on performance basis in WBCS Preliminary 2020 examination can check their results / eligibility for Mains exam using roll number in the list of prepared by the WBPSC on the web site of the Commission, wbpsc.gov.in.

WBCS decides WBCS 2020 cut off marks for shortlisting the candidates for the Main Examination as follows- Un-Reserved - 127.0000, SC - 113.6667, ST - 98.3333, OBC (A)- 119.0000, OBC - (B)- 122.0000, Ph (LV) - 96.6667 and Ph (HI) - 90.0000.
