WB Police Recruitment 2021: Apply for 9720 Constable, Lady Constable, SI & Lady SI posts before 20 Feb

The Recruitment Board of West Bengal Police has released recruitment notifications for filling up of 9720 vacancies of Sub-Inspector, Lady Sub-Inspector, and Constable, Lady Constable posts. The eligible and interested candidates can apply for the said Constable, Sub Inspector posts in West Bengal either through online or offline mode before February 20, 2021. 

Applications are invited for the recruitment of 753 Sub-Inspector of Police, 150 Lady Inspector, 7440 Constables, and 1192 Lady Constables in West Bengal Police in the Pay Scale of Level-6 and 10 respectively. Aspirants can apply for the 

• Sub Inspector- 1088 posts, (Male-753, Lady- 150)
• Constable and Lady-Constable- 8632 (Male 7440, Lady- 1190 posts)

Recruitment to the post of Constable and Lady Constable in West Bengal Police 2020-

Eligibility- The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.

Age Limit- The applicant must not be less than 18 (eighteen) years old and must not be more than 27 (twenty seven) years old as of 01/01/2021. The Upper-age limit shall be relaxed for the SC/ST applicants of West Bengal only by 05 (five) years

Recruitment Method:- The posts of Constable/Lady Constable in the West Bengal Police shall be filled up on the basis of qualifying the Preliminary Written Test which will act as screening examination followed by the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Written Examination and Interview to be conducted by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board.

Educational Qualification:- The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent

Age Limit- The applicant must not be below 20 years and not more than 27 years as of 01.01.2021. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST and by 3 years for OBC.

Selection Process- The posts of Sub-Inspector/ Lady Sub-Inspector (UB) and Sub-Inspector (AB) in the West Bengal Police shall be filled up on basis of qualifying the Preliminary Examination which will act as screening examination followed by the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Combined Competitive Examination and Personality Test to be conducted by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board, WB Police Official advertisements read
