Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has revised its academic calendar 2021-22 for Even Semester exams 2021-22. According to the revised calendar, academic session of Even Semesters (Sem- IV, VI & VIII) of B.E, B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning has commenced from 19 April 2021 and Theory examinations will be held from 23 August 2021 onwards.
VTU has revised its academic calendar in view of the situation amid surge in the Covid-19 cases in state. Students have also been demanding authorities to postpone Odd Semester exams due to Coronavirus. However in its clarification VTU has said to conduct exams as per schedule in April, providing another chance for willing candidates during next semester exams in August.

According to the revised calendar, Visvesvaraya Technological University has commenced the session for Even semester Bachelor degree programs from 19th April 2021 onwards. The last working day for academic session will be 7th August 2021 and Practical exams will take place from 9th to 19th August 2021.

"VTU Even semester theory exams will be held from 23 August to 9 September 2021. Odd Semester exams will be held from 13 September 2021 onwards", official Revised Academic Calendar reads.
