Vikram 5th Weekend Box Office Collection (Gross): With Lokesh Kangaraj's Vikram, veteran actor Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has hit the jackpot. The film, the second installment of Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) after Karthi's Kaithi, has become the most profitable endeavor in Kollywood. The film, which was developed on a budget of around ₹150 crores, did a pre-release business of ₹200 crores and secured more than ₹400 crores—the most in the Kollywood Film Industry to date.
In Vikram, Kamal Haasan is supported by a fantastic cast that includes Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi in characters that are tailor-made for them. The filmmaker was able to create a commercial film with a multi-star ensemble that became a double smash.
