UPSSSC Lekhpal Notification 2022 Released, Apply Online for 8085 Posts From 7 January

UPSSSC invites online applications for 8085 Lekhpal posts under Revenue Lekhpal Mains Notification 2022 at upsssc.gov.in. The last date for online application is February 04, 2022, with an online application fee of Rs 25.

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the Revenue Lekhpal notification 2021-22 on the official website upsssc.gov.in. A total of 8085 Lekhpal vacancies are to be filled through the direct recruitment examination. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online for UP Lekhpal Bharti 2021 from January 07, 2022, onwards. The last date for submission of the application form is February 04, 2022. 

Of the total 8085 Lekhpal vacancies, 3271 posts are for Unreserved or General category, 1690 posts for Scheduled Caste (SC), 798 for Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 2174 for Other Backward Class (OBC), and 152 for Scheduled Tribe (ST).

In order to apply online for the UP Lekhpal vacancies 2022, candidates have to register at the apply online link (activating on January 07, 2022) for the Revenue Lekhpal Mains Examination 2021-02. Candidates have to register online at upsssc.gov.in and submit the application form by filling in all required academic and personal information. The application fee for all category candidates is Rs 25. After the submission of the application, all candidates need to take a printout of their application for future references.

To be eligible for UP Lekhpal Bharti, the candidate should have passed the Intermediate or Class 12th Examination from a recognized Board or University. While the age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not exceed 40 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for the reserved category candidates.

The selection will be made through the direct recruitment examination 2021. There will be no interview held. The written examination will consist of 100 marks consisting of a total of 100 multiple-choice questions. Questions divided into 4 sections will be asked from General Hindi, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Village Society and Development. Each section will contain 25 questions. Candidates will have to answer all questions in a time duration of 2 hours. 

Based on the performance in the written examination a merit list will be prepared and released on the website upsssc.gov.in. Finally selected candidates will be hired on a pay scale of Rs 5,200 to 20,200 with a Grade Pay of Rs 2000.
