UPSSSC Lekhpal Jobs 2020 Update: Report on 8000 Chakbandhi Lekhpal posts by next week

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is all set to begin the recruitment drive on Lekhpal 8000 posts.  Commission has issued notice asking authorities to submit a report on available vacant posts till June 2020. Reviewing the earlier setbacks UPSSSC has decided to start the procedure from a fresh end on nearly 8,000 posts of Lekhpal. Divisional Commissioners are asked to submit a report on Lekhpal vacancies within a week.

Based on a report Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has assured during his several campaigns to fill the vacancies of Lekhpal. In recent move UPSSSC has called 3 years’ combined proposal to restart recruitment drive on Lekhpal vacancies. State Revenue Council is appointed in this matter.

For filling a total 8,000 posts of Lekhpal, UP Govt has asked authorities to compile a detailed draft on Lekhpal jobs in state. A combined list of vacancies of last 3 years is called by Commission. Following the Reservation norms, the recruitment will be initiated, Commission told.

Releasing the latest intimation, UPSSSC says “A total of 8000 posts of Chakbandhi Lekhpal (UP Lekhpal) will be filled by UPSSSC. Candidates will be intimated on detailed recruitment notification at upsssc.gov.in website likely by August 2020. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has asked authorities to submit details by next week.

Reviewing the earlier report submitted by authorities on 5,200 Lekhpal vacancies, Commission decided to verify the vacancies of last three years 2017-18, 2018-19 & 2019-20 till June. According to eligibility criteria Class 10+2 pass candidates will be eligibile to apply for the posts. Candidates will require Computer Knowlegde as compulsory requirement for Lekhpal post. The detailed eligibility / selection criteria & pay scale etc will be intimated in due course at upsssc.gov.in.
