UPSESSB cancels 15508 Teachers Recruitments, to shortly re-advertise, says the Board

UPSESSB cancels15508 Teachers Recruitment Advertisements 2020: The Office of Deputy Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Secondary Service Selection Board (UPSESSB) has countermanded  02 Notifications -  Advertisement No. 01/2020 Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Teachers and Notification No. 02/2020 in reference to Recruitment to the Posts of Ad hoc Lecturers (PGT) in Uttar Pradesh. The Deputy Secretary shall shortly release new Notifications in regard to Recruitment to the Posts Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) and Ad hoc Lecturers (Post Graduate Teachers).  

Uttar Pradesh Secondary Service Selection Board rescinded TGT Teachers and PGT Lectuters Recruitment in the aftermath of the Honorable Apex Court of the country Verdict for conducting Recruitment to the TGT Teachers and PGT Lectuters. The Honorable Supreme Court delivered the Verdict (vide Civil Appeal No. 8300/2016 Sanjay Singh & Others Vs Uttar Pradesh Administration) on the 26th Date of August 2020 in respect of rescinding Recruitment to the Posts of Trained Graduate Teacher vide Advertisement No. 01/2020 and Post Graduate Teacher Ad hoc Lecturers vide Advertisement No. 02/2020.

The Deputy Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Secondary Service Selection Board, would release fresh Advertisements for Selection to the Posts of Teachers (TGT) and Ad hoc Lecturers / Lecturers (PGT) afresh.  The Office of Deputy Secretary would issue separate Advertisements in the Leading Newspapers of the State.  The Advertisements would also be published in the Website. The Candidates meeting with the Eligibility Criteria for the Posts may apply Online following issuance of the TGT Teachers / PGT Lecturers Recruitment.    

Selection Criteria: Selection to the Posts of Trained Graduate Teachers and Lecturers (Post Graduate Teacher) shall be in order of Final Merit List in the Objective Type Written Examinations.  Selection to the Posts TGT Teacher shall remain (TGT 425 Marks + Interview 50 Marks + Weight age to Special Ability: 25 Marks) and for the Post of Ad hoc Lecturers, the Written Examination shall carry 390 Marks.
