Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit (As On 01.07.2020)

01) For the Post of Editor: Minimum 30 Years and Maximum 40 Years. For the Post of Reporter: Minimum 22 Years and Maximum 40 Years 03) For all other Posts Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 40 Years. Relaxation in Upper Age Limits for Reserved Category Candidates. 

Educational Qualification:  Intermediate to Bachelor's Degree awarded by the University Duly Recognized by Uttar Pradesh Administration specific to the Posts. For details on Eligibility Criteria related to the Posts, the Candidates may click on UPLAS Notification 2020.  Preferential Qualification:  01) 02-Years' Serving Experience in the Territorial Army. 02) Obtained B-Certificate of National Cadet Corps (NCC) and 03) State Representation in any Sports Category.

Selection Procedure - Preliminary Tests and Main Examinations. Uttar Pradesh Recruitment Board shall conduct Online Computer Based Format Preliminary and Main Examimations in succession on different Dates for Selection to the Posts notified in the Advertisement.   

01) Editor: Written Examination consists of 03 Parts for 150 Marks 

Part-I: General Studies: 50 MCQs for 50 Marks; Part-II: General Hindi: 50 MCQs for 50 Marks; and Part-III: Post-related Knowledge: 50 MCQs for 50 Marks  Total 150 Multiple-Choice Questions; Aggregate: 150 Marks
