Over one lakh students joined in an online social media campaign on Wednesday demanding state government to release Primary Teacher recruitment notification, that is scheduled to be released this year. The recruitment on available Primary Teacher vacancies in the state government schools to be filled through Super Teacher Eligibility Test or Super TET.
With hashtag "Yogi SuperTET do" aspirants on Wednesday came forward and launched an online campaign on micro blogging site Twitter to awaken the eyes of the concerned authorities.
According to the students they have been waiting for last two years for the Primary Teacher vacancies in the state. "UP D.EL.ED 2017 batch qualified candidates are in row to apply for the Super TET or Primary Teacher recruitment in the state", Sandeep Singh a student said while contributing to the online campaign demanding State Chief Miniater Yogi Adityanath to make release the notification.

Earlier, state government advertised UP TET 2020 notification and scheduled to invite the online applications from 19 May, which has been differed due to the surge in Covid-19 cases in the state. The examination was to be held on July 25, 2021. However, fresh schedule of examination is yet to be released by the concerned agency.
