Uttar Pradesh Government decision to conduct Recruitment to Group "B" and "C" Posts for initial 05-Years on Contract Basis and Regulation based on the Candidates' Performance scoring Minimum Qualifying 60% Marks in Half-Yearly Assessment / Evaluation. In a bid to minimize Incompetency toward curbing Scams and Corruption in the Government Sector, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has mulled to initiating Recruitment to the Group "B" and "C" Posts.  The State Government, as a corollary to Group B & C Post (Contractual) Appointment & Regulation Rule 2020, post-implementation make like to institute (set up) a Recruitment Agency for the purpose.  
    
The Government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to proceed with initiating a Policy draft on conducting Recruitment in  reference to Group "B" & "C" Posts.  The Government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to proceed with Policy formulation in respect Group B & C Post (Contractual) Appointment & Regulation Rule 2020.  The Government of Uttar Pradesh, in order to review individual Service Performance, shall conduct Half-Yearly Assessment of the Personnel serving on 05-Years' Contractual Terms.    

Recruitment to Group "B" and "C" Posts, at the outset, shall be conducted on Contract Basis for a period of 05 Years under the Appointment of Group B and C Posts (On Contract) and Regulation Rules 2020 (समूह ख व ग पदों पर नियुक्ति (संविदा पर) एवं विनियमितीकरण नियमावली 2020). Recruitment to the Group B & C Posts shall be conducted through 02 Stages, viz., Preliminary Examination and Main Examination.  The Candidates scoring Minimum 60% Qualifying Marks in aggregate in the Preliminary and Main Examination will only be considered Eligible for Appointment on Contract. 

The Candidates, to be deemed Eligible subject to meeting with the Eligibility Criteria, Applicant to Group "B" & "C" Posts shall need to qualify with scoring Minimum 60% Qualifying Marks in both Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. The candidates, in order to be considered Eligible for Group "B" and "C" Posts.  Those falling short of securing at least 60% Marks in Half-Yearly Assessment will be considered Incompetent, hence, Ineligible to continue to serve under Group "B" and Group "C" Posts.  The Candidates working on Contract like those permanent personnel under Group "B" and Group "C" Post shall not be granted Permissible Service Benefits until they are regularized.
