UP govt to recruit Assistant Teacher, Headmaster & Clerk on 5792 posts, UPESSC soon

The Uttar Pradesh state government has planned to start recruitment on 5,792 posts of Assistant Teacher, Headmaster and Clerk in govt aided Junior High Schools. Based on a press release, in state a total 3049 Junior High Schools have submitted details of vacancies. The recruitment process on said 5792 posts is likely to start soon after set-up of Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC), report says.

Government has approved recruitment on five thousand plus posts of Assistant Teacher (Sahayak Adhyapak), Headmaster and Clerk in Junior High Schools. Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC) after taking final shape to begin recruitment on said 5792 posts in Jr High Schools.

Among prescribed 5792 vacancies a total 4006 posts of Assistant Teacher, 1065 posts of Headmaster and 721 posts of Clerk to be filled in Junior High Schools of Uttar Pradesh. Vacancies to be filled through direct recruitment examination. Govt to hold state level written examination for filling up Assistant Teachers and Clerk posts. Also, the selection criteria for Headmaster post has been changed.

Formation of UPESSC Soon:

The Uttar Pradesh government has given nod to set-up Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC). It is briefed that Commission is likely to take final shape very shortly & recruitment on these 5000 plus vacancies to be made by UPESSC. In past on several instances the formation of Commission has been halted.
