National Testing Agency (NTA) would publish UGC NET 2020 Paper subject wise answer key, only after the examination. To help candidates to assess their performances Agency would faciliatate provisional and final UGC NET 2020 Answer key for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Conducting the Paper 1 and Paper 2 online exam on Sept 29, 2020 for Law and Physical Education in shift 1 and Women Studies, Environmental Science, Sanskrit, Performing Arts in shift 2, a detailed analysis of Question papers to be made available with an aim to help candidates access their exam.
NTA conducts UGC NET 2020 on Sept 29, 2020 in Computer Based mode, following the social-distancing norms. The examination was conducted for the third day, after it began on Sept 24, 2020. Students appear for the NTA UGC NET June 2020 paper held on September 29, can check the availability of Paper 1 and paper 2 from the web site ugcnet.nta.nic.in. UGC NET June 2020 September 29, exam conducted in two successive shifts. In Shift 1 Computer Based test for subjects including Law and Physical Education and in Shift 2 exam for subjects including Women Studies, Santalim, Sanskrit, Performing Art - Dance/Drama/Theatre, Environmental Sciences, held.
UGC NET 29 September Online exam held in two shifts, Shift 1 from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and Shift 2 from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM. Cumulative time duration of the NTA held UGC NET exam was of 3 hours. UGC NET written test conducted through online mode in two session- i.e, session 1 for Paper 1 and session 2 for Paper 2. UGC NET 2020 consisted of a total 150 multiple-choice based questions. Paper 1 consisted of a total 50 questions (100 marks and Paper 2 will have 100 questions (200 marks).
As per NTA notice, Provisional Answer Key of the questions to be made available NTA website ugcnet.nta.nic.in to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the Provisional Key. The Answer Keys are likely to be displayed for two to three days. The Candidates will be given an opportunity to make a challenge online against the Provisional Answer Key on payment of Rs. 1000/- per question challenged as processing charges. Key Challenge procedure- Only paid challenges made during stipulated time through key challenge link will be considered. Challenges without justification/evidence and those filed on any other medium other than the prescribed link will not be considered.

The NTA will display the Question Paper and attempted recorded responses by the candidates on the NTA website ugcnet.nta.nic.in prior to declaration of result. The Question paper attempted and recorded responses are likely to be displayed for two to three days. A uniform marking scheme was followed in the 29 September UGC NET Online exam. For both Paper 1 and 2, each correct answer carried a total 2 marks. There was no negative marking for incorrect answers.

In Paper 1 questions were asked from - Teaching Aptitude, Research Aptitude, Comprehension Communication, Mathematical Reasoning and Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Information and Communication Technology, People, Development and Environment and Higher Education System.
According to reports in UGC NET 29/09/2020 Paper 1 was held to determine sections followed - Teaching Aptitude- 10-12 questions, Research Aptitude- 4-6, Data Interpretation- 5, Environment 2 questions, Maths & Reasoning 6-8 questions, Logical Reasoning 5, Communication 3-5 questions, Information Technology 2- 4, Higher Education 4-5 and 5 questions from Comprehension passage were asked.
UGC NET Shift 2 Analysis
The list of subjects for UGC NET 2020 Sept 29 Paper 2 for which exam held are as follows- Women Studies, Santalim, Sanskrit, Performing Art - Dance/Drama/Theatre, Environmental Sciences. A total 100 questions (subject specific) carrying 2 marks each were asked in shfit 2 paper. A total 100 MCQs from Subject specific stream were asked and all the questions of Paper 2 were compulsory to attempt.
