Tata Institute of Social Sciences will declare the TISS NET 2021 computer-based test results today on its official website. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance test held on 20th February for admissions to Master of Arts, Master of Science, B.Ed-M.Ed Integrated courses can check their results at tiss.edu. Those who qualify the computer-based examination will have to appear for Stage 2 (PIT/ Personal Interview).
Earlier, TISS-NET 2021 was held in computer-based mode carrying a maximum of 100 objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs). TISS-NET 2021 was held on 20th February 2021, from 2 pm to 3.40 pm across several centres located in different parts of the country.
After the evaluation of 20th February held TISSNET 2021, the results are going to be announced, today. The National Entrance Test (NET) was aimed at shortlisting the candidates for Stage 2 (PIT/ Personal Interview) based on differential cut-offs for different programmes.
Along with the TISS NET 2021 result/ score card candidates can view and download their Interview schedule/interview calll letter updates at tiss.edu.

Once the TISS NET 2021 results get announced, candidates can view TISS NET 2021 Score, course-wise select list and counseling Info from tiss.edu. Course-wise TISS NET Open (Unreserved) Merit List (OML) will be prepared on the basis of (i) the aggregate score and (ii) the candidate’s preference of course as given in the online application form. TISS NET OML Merit List will be prepared without consideration of the category they have applied to, thus providing an opportunity for all candidates to get selected in the OML depending on their aggregate score.
After considering all the candidates in OML, a separate Category-wise Merit List (CML) will be drawn for the number of seats reserved for each category as per the Government / UGC regulations on the matter.

TISS NET 2021 Merit List: The merit list is expected to be released by April 2021.
TISS NET Cut off: The sectional cut-off for General Awareness (GA) is applied for qualifying the TISS-NET. Candidates not scoring minimum cut-off marks for the General Awareness as above will not be qualified for TISS NET irrespective of the aggregate score. Sectional Cut Off (SCO) applied:
For the preparation of the Merit list, candidates scoring the highest marks out of 100 will be empanelled in the Merit list.
