SSC releases Vacancies in IB, MEA, Railways, CBI & Narcotics Department

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released notice on vacancies to be filled in Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of External Affairs, Indian Railways, CBI, Central Bureau of Narcotics & other departments. SSC Commission on Monday released the 8582 vacancies notice under Combined Graduate Level 2019 Examination. The department wise list of vacancies is intimated at official website ssc.nic.in, however the state / zone wise vacancies are yet to be collected by Commission.

On June 29, Monday Staff Selection Commission in response to SSC CGLE 2019 examination released the vacancies going to fill in various Central Government departments & Ministries including MEA, Ministry of Textiles, Central Secretariat, Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) & others.

Applications for the said Combined Graduate Level posts have been received by Staff Selection Commission. Tier 1 Online examination is also conducted for the CGL Exam 2019. Selection of eligible candidates will be based on Online Computer Based Test stages I.e Tier 1, Tier 2 (Online) and Skill test.

Tier-I: First stage Online exam will be a 75 minutes examination, consisting 100 MCQ questions & total 200 marks. For each correct answer, a student scores +2 marks and for each incorrect response, a penalty of -0.50 is given. There is no penalty for not attempting questions. The score obtained in Tier - I examination is added in the final score to arrive at the merit list. There are four sections - Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and General Awareness & each section 25 questions.

3. Tier-II: There are four papers conducted in Tier-II Exam.

Paper- I Quantitative Abilities- 200 marks (100 Questions)

Paper-II English Language & Comprehension- 200 marks (200 questions).

Paper- III Statistics 200 marks (100Questions)

Paper-IV General Studies (Finance and Economics)- 200 Marks

Note- CBT 1 Online Computer Based Examination for the CGL 2019 has been conducted. CGL Stage 1 result is being awaited and expected to be announced shortly at official website ssc.nic.in.
