SSC to recruit Clerk, Cook and Canteen Attendant in Departmental Canteen, invites Recruitment rules

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has proposed a recruitment draft for the recruitment of various posts in Departmental Canteens in various Govt Departments/ Organizations and Ministeries. SSC to conduct Recruitment Examination for the Group C posts of Clerk, Halwai cum Cook, Assistant Halwai cum Cook and Canteen Attendant posts.

Releasing the notice, SSC invites comments on formation of Recruitment rules for Recruitment of Departmental Canteen employees in the Staff Selection Commission (HQs) in Delhi. The requests are invited within 30 days from the date of uploading of draft recruitment rules.

The jobs are to be filled for a probation period of 2 years, SSC notice reads. Here are the recruitment posts going to be filled under Group C posts' Recruitment examination 2020.

Clerk (Group C)- 2 Posts

Age Limit- 18-25 Years

Eligibility- 12th Class or Equivalent from a recognized Board

Pay Scale- 19900- 63200

Halwai cum Cook- 2 Posts

Age Limit- 18-25 Years

Eligibility- 10th Class or Equivalent from a recognized Board

Experience of two year in a Govt Department or undertaking

Pay Scale- 21700- 69100

Assistant Halwai cum Cook- 1 post

Age Limit- 18-25 Years

Eligibility- 10th Class or Equivalent from a recognized Board with a certificate or diploma in catering. 

Experience of one year.

Pay Scale- 19900- 63200

Selection Process- A trade skill test for cooking including maintainance of hygiene shall be conducted by the Departmental promotion Committee to access the suitability of the candidate.
