SSC Constable GD 2018 Joining Letters to be issued shortly to Medically Fit candidates

The Staff Selection Commission, in the aftermath of the Review Medical Examination Results of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2018 would shortly initiate issuing the Letters of Joining. The SSC would intimate the Candidates through Email Ids.

SSC Constable (GD) in AR 2018 Joining Letter:  The Staff Selection Commission shall shortly initiate the Joining Process for the Candidates declared Qualified in the Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles (AR) Examination 2018. The Staff Selection Commission would host the Review Medical Examination of the Candidates from the 14th September 2020 up to the 10th Date of November 2020.  

The Candidates having successfully qualified the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST) / Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME) will be scheduled and conducted by the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) would be subjected to Collection of the required Eligibility Certificates / Documents from the Candidates and their Verification will be carried out at the time of Detailed Medical Examination (DME) by the Central Armed Police Forces.  

In view of the above, there is a likelihood that the Staff Selection Commission may initiate within January 2021 issuing the Letters of Joining under Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The Candidates would be informed through SMS Alert and Email by the Staff Selection Commission.

June 15, 2021: Thousands of students join digital campaign demanding Staff Selection Commission to release waiting list and give joining to Medically fit candidates. 

The Staff Selection Commission notified Total 102260 Vacancies for Recruitment under Border Security Force (16,984 Nos.), Central Industrial Security Force  (200 Nos.), Central Reserve Police Force (21,566 Noss.), Sashastra Seema Bal (8,546 Nos.), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (4,126 Nos.), Assam Rifle (3,076 Nos.), National Investigation Agency (08 Nos.) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) (447 Nos.).

The salient features of the Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles - Recruitment are as hereunder:  

The Staff Selection Commission conducted All-India Online Computer Based Examination (CBE) consisting 04 Parts with 100 Objective-Type MCQs comprised for 100 Marks with Negative Marking involved where Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks to be obtained by the Candidates were 01) Un-Reserved (General) And Ex-Service Men: 35% AND 02) OBC / SC / ST: 33%

The candidates eligible for appointment under Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles would be intimated by the Commission;  i.e., http://www.ssc.nic.in/, concerned Regional / Sub-Regional Office and the Nodal Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs); i.e., the Central Reserve Police Force http://www.crpf.gov.in/.
