SBI CBO Notification 2021; Apply Online for 1226 Circle Based Officer Posts, Check Exam Syllabus & More

State Bank of India (SBI) has released the recruitment notification for filling up 1226 posts of Circle Based Officer (CBO) in different circles/ states. With this, applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for appointment as Circle Based Officer (CBO) in the State Bank of India. The eligible candidates may apply online at sbi.co.in from December 09 to 29, 2021. The selected candidates initially will be able to draw a basic pay of Rs 36,000.

Before applying online, candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post as on the date of eligibility. Further, they are asked to carefully read the advertisement regarding the CBO eligibility criteria, selection process, online registration process, payment of prescribed application fee, call letter, the pattern of examination, etc.

To be eligible for the posts of SBI CBO, the candidate should possess a Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The age of the candidate should not be below 21 years and not above 30 years as of December 01, 2021.

SBI CBO Notification 2021 Apply Online:

For SBI CBO online application, candidates are required to register themselves online through Bank's website bank.sbi/careers. After registration candidates belonging to the General/ EWS/ OBC category are required to pay the required application fee of Rs 750, while candidates of SC/ ST/ PWD categories are exempted from the payment.

The process of online application is complete only when the application fee is deposited with the Bank through Online mode on or before the last date for payment of fee i.e. December 29, 2021.

Selection of the candidates will be made through online written tests, screening, and interviews. The examinations will be conducted in January 2022 (tentatively) in online mode at venues across many centers in India.

SBI CBO Online Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The online written test will consist of objective tests for 120 marks and a descriptive test for 50 marks. The descriptive test will be administered immediately after the conclusion of the objective test and candidates will have to take their descriptive test on the computer. The duration of the descriptive test will be 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions.

The time duration of the objective test is 2 hours and it consists of 4 sections of total of 120 marks. There will be separate timing for every section. Questions will be asked from English Language, Banking Knowledge, General Awareness/Economy, and Computer Aptitude. The candidates have to download their call letter (for Online Written Exam & Interview) and an 'acquaint yourself booklet', by entering their registration number and password/ date of birth from the Bank's website. The admit card will go live from January 22, 2021, onwards. The selected candidates will be posted in the applied Circle/ State only.
