RRB NTPC CBT-1 Result 2021 Out By January 15, CBT 2 From February 14 to 18: Official Notice

RRB NTPC result of the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) is currently under process and the result is tentatively scheduled to be published on the official website of RRBs by January 15, 2022.

Railway Recruitment Boards, Indian Railways will declare the result of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) CBT-1 by January 15, 2022. The result will be displayed on the official websites of the boards, says RRB. Once the CBT-1 result is announced, candidates who appeared in NTPC first stage test, held in seven phases will be able to check their results using their roll numbers. Those who qualify will be eligible to appear in CBT-2 likely to take place from February 14 to 18, 2022.

"The result of the 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) is currently under process and the results are tentatively scheduled to be published on the official websites of RRBs by January 15, 2022," an official notice from RRB Bhopal reads.

While announcing the RRB NTPC CBT 1 result date, the board has further announced the date of the 2nd stage computer-based test for the candidates who will be shortlisted. According to the result notice, the 2nd stage CBT 2 will be held from February 14 to 18, 2022, subject to the prevailing conditions and Government guidelines in view of the Coronavirus pandemic.

In order to check the RRB NTPC CBT 1 Result updates, candidates are advised to refer to the official websites of RRBs for the latest updates on the recruitment process. They should keep ready their roll number and other credentials to check their result, upon the announcement.

It should be noted that the total no. of candidates to be shortlisted for the 2nd stage shall be 20 times the community-wise vacancies of posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in 1st Stage CBT cum choice of posts.

If candidates are eligible for more than one level of 7th CPC posts as per their educational qualifications, they have to give common 2nd stage CBT for each level of 7th CPC. 

RRB NTPC CBT 2 test will consist of 120 questions to be answered in a time duration of 90 minutes. Questions will be asked from General Awareness (50), Mathematics (35), and General Intelligence and Reasoning (35). There will be negative marking and a 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The 1st stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) was held in seven phases from December 28, 2020, to July 31, 2021. Meantime due to the 2nd wave of COVID-19 the examination was postponed, however, later resumed in July 2021. Approximately 1.25 crore candidates had applied for the NTPC (CEN 01/2021) Recruitment on over 35,208 vacancies.
