The RRB NTPC CBT Call Letters are Live for download by the Candidates appearing in the 1st Stage Socially-Distanced Based Computer Based Examination 2020 commencing from the 28th December 2020. The Candidates may download their respective E-Call Letters from the Regional Railway Recruitment Board Websites displayed.

RRB NTPC CBT Exam-2020 Call Letters for All Regions: The Chairpersons, Railway Recruitment Boards have facilitated E-Call Letters Link thereby enabling the Candidates to download from the Regional Railway Recruitment Boards Links displayed in the Later Part of the Information Bulletin. 

The Candidates appearing in the Computer-Based Examinations for different Posts would be issued E-Admit Cards 04 Days prior to commencement of the Online Computer Based Tests. The Candidates would be informed through E-Mail Ids on downloading and printing out the Admit Cards. The E-Admit Cards downloaded by the Candidates will bear 01) the Information related to the Computer Based Examination including the Name of the City and the Reporting Time among others AND 02)  and THE Instructions in respect thereof for compliance by the Candidates.   

The Railway Recruitment Boards [vide CEN No. 01/2019 Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) / Under Graduate & Graduate Postsnotified For the RRB NTPC Exam, Indian Railways has received more than 1.2 Crore Applications against 35,277 (UG: 10628 Vacancies + Grads: 24,649 Posts).  As many as 1,26,30,885  / in excess of 1.26 Lac Candidates registered) for appearing in the 1st Stage Computer Based Test.

Modality RRB E-Call Letters Downloading: The Candidates may log into the Regional Web Links Concerned using One Time Password (OTP) through the RRB Websites. The Call Letters: The Candidates will have to download the City and Date Intimations, e-Call Letters and Travel Authority (wherever Applicable) from the Links provided on the Official Websites of Railway Recruitment Boards.

02) Enter the Registration Number / Roll Number (Enter the Registration Number).

04) Enter User Password

05) Enter Date of Birth AND

06) Log in to view the Details and generate the E-Call Letters   

The Candidates appearing in the RRB 1st Stage Computer Based Examinations shall need to carry the Essential Documents with their Admit Cards.  Such Candidates would also have to carry with them Self-Declared CoViD-2019 Letters mentioning (CoViD-Asymptomatic / CoViD-Negative / CoViD-Symptomized) to be represented before the Examination Invigilators at the Examination Centers.

The Railway Recruitment Boards will host the Computer Based Examinations for the NTPC Category (Graduate & Under-Graduate Posts) in the Social-Distanced Computer Based Test Format in compliance with the Ministry of Home Affairs issued CoViD - 2019 Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures.  RRB CBT Examination (1st Stage) consist of 03 Sections for 100 Marks. The Railway Recruitment Boards shall host First Stage Computer-Based Examination in Social-Distance Format as detailed in the later part.

 1st Stage Computer-Based Examination:     

Exam Duration: 90 Minutes   

No of Multiple-Choice Questions: 100   

Maximum Marks:  100   

Marking: +01 Mark for each Correct Response to the Assigned Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions in the Test Paper:  Deduction 0f 1/3rd or (0.33) Marks for each Incorrect Response / Multiple Answers to Multiple-Choice Questions in the Test Paper.    

Section-A: General Awareness: 40 Objective-Type Multiple-Choice Questions= 40 Marks; Section-B: Mathematics: 30 MCQs= 30 Marks; Section-C: General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30 MCQs = 30 Marks

Stages of the Examination: There shall be two-Stage Computer-Based Tests (CBTs) (vide Centralized Employment Notice No. CEN 01/2019 For Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate & Under-Graduate Posts)  

followed by the Skill Test (Computer-based Aptitude Test for Station Master and Traffic Assistant, Typing Skill Test for Junior Clerk-cum-Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist, Senior Clerk-cum-Typist, Junior Account Assistant-cum-Typist, and Senior Time Keeper). Subsequently, there will be Document Verification and Medical Examination. For Trains Clerk, Commercial-cum- Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, there shall be Two-Stage Computer-Based Tests followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.

NTPC Under Graduate Posts (10628 Vacancies). Notification in this reference includes the Positions 01) Junior Clerk-cum-Typist; 02) Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist; 03) Junior Time Keeper; 04) Trains Clerk and 05) Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk. AND NTPC Graduate Posts (24,649) include 01) Traffic Assistant; 02) Goods Guard; 03) Senior Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk; 04) Senior Clerk-cum-Typist; 05) Junior Account Assistant-cum-Typist; 06) Senior Time Keeper; 07) Commercial Apprentice; 08) Station Master Posts (103769 Vacancies)
