RRB NTPC 1st Shift Exam over, Have a look at 28th December Shift 1, 2, 3 Answer Key availability

The Railway Recruitment Boards would publish on all the RRB websites the Answer key 28th December dated 1st Stage Computer-Based Test Answer Key of NTPC Posts shortly after 13th January, to invite Candidates' representation with Objections within the timeline set. The Candidates would be issued instructions with the standard format for the same for NTPC CBT Exam Answers-Key.

RRBs NTPC CBT Exam 2020 Answer Key: The Railway Recruitment Boards would publish the 28th December Tentative Answer Key of 1st Stage Computer-Based Test of NTPC Posts on all the RRB website to seek objections from the Candidates. The Candidates would be instructed on applying with the Documentary Proofs for the MCQs. The Candidates, who appeared in the RRBs Computer-Based Examination 2020 of the NTPC Category Posts, will be issued Intimation through Cellphone SMS Alert. The Candidates shall have to do as directed in the subsequent Lines.   

The Railway Recruitment Boards conducted the 1st Stage in Social-Distanced Computer-Based Test Format. Close to 23 Lac Candidates are likely to appear in Stage-I Computer-Based Examination held across the country. The RRBs held CoViD-2019 Compliance Based is likely to witness the presence of 1.25 Crore Candidates. The 1st Stage Computer-Based Test for NTPC having 03 Sections with 100 Multiple-Choice Questions of Objective-Type comprised.  The Computer-Based Examination carries Maximum 100 Marks with 1/3rd (0.33) Negative Marking involved.

The Computer-Based Examination spans 90 Minutes' Duration with allotted 01 Mark for each Correct Response, involving therein 1/3rd (0.33) Negative Marking for incorrect Response / Multiple Answers

01) General Awareness comprising 40 Multiple-Choice Questions of Objective Type (40 Marks); 02) Mathematics containing 30 Objective-Type Multiple-Choice Questions (30 Marks); 03) General Intelligence & Reasoning having 30 Objective-Type MCQs (30 Marks)

NTPC CBT Paper Analysis: Mathematics Section comprises the MCQs based on Number System, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportions, Percentage, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Elementary Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, etc.

General Intelligence and Reasoning Sections comprise the MCQs on Analogies, Completion of Number and Alphabetical Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Similarities and Differences, Relationships, Analytical Reasoning, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagrams, Puzzle, Data Sufficiency, Statement-Conclusion, Statement-Courses of Action, Decision Making, Maps, Interpretation of Graphs, etc.

General Awareness Sections contains Current Events of National and International Importance, Games and Sports, Art and Culture of India, Indian Literature, Monuments and Places of India, General Science and Life Science (up to 10th CBSE), History of India and Freedom Struggle, Physical, Social and Economic Geography of India and World, Indian Polity and Governance- constitution and political system, General Scientific and Technological Developments including Space and Nuclear Program of India, UN and Other important World Organizations, Environmental Issues Concerning India and World at Large, Basics of Computers and Computer Applications, Common Abbreviations, Transport Systems in India, Indian Economy, Famous Personalities of India and World, Flagship Government Programs, Flora and Fauna of India, Important Government and Public Sector Organizations of India, etc.

Procedure for raising Objections: After Log-in into the Objection Link, the Candidate may view their respective Question Papers and the Responses by clicking on the “Question Paper & Response” Button. While reviewing Government Of India Ministry Of Railways Railway Recruitment Boards the Multiple-Choice Questions, if they intend to raise an Objection for any Multiple-Choice Question, they can click on the “Raise Objection” Button given near the Question. This will open an Objection Page where they can choose the type of Objection from the Dropdown Option and fill in the supporting details or upload Supporting Documents (Reference / Explanation).   

The Candidate may raise objection for only one Question at a time and make the payment. Click on the “Pay Now” Button to make Payment for the selected Objection. A payment of Rs. 50/- has to be made for every Objection raised. On completion of successful Payment Transaction, the Objection will get recorded and would be redirected to the “Objection Summary” Page. The same Procedure shall be adopted for raising subsequent Objections.

Answer Key Objection Chargeable Fee:

The Prescribed Fee for raising objections is Rs. 50/- + Application Bank Services Charges per Objective-Type Multiple-Choice Question. In case the objection raised is found to be correct, the Fee paid against such valid Objections shall be refunded to the Candidate by the Railway Recruitment Board. The Fee refund would be credited into his / her Account from where the Candidate has made the Online Payment. 

The Candidates are advised to raise individual Objection(s), if any, well before the Final Date (to be notified) and Time  (23:59 Hours) after which, the Railway Recruitment Boards shall not acknowledge/entertain Any Representation from the Candidates on the Questions / Options / Keys, etc.   

Final Answer Key of the NTPC Category Examination 2020, in case of discrepancy/ies observed by the Offices of the Chairpersons, would be displayed in the RRBs Websites.  However, the Decision of the Railway Recruitment Boards on the Objections raised shall remain final and binding on the Candidates and no further correspondence shall be accepted from the Candidates in the matter afterwards.
