RPSC SI, PC Recruitment 2021: Apply for 859 Sub Inspector, Platoon Commander posts in Rajasthan Police

RPSC SI Recruitment 2021: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has released a notification for the recruitment of Sub Inspector (SI), and Platoon Commander (PC) posts. RPSC to fill the 859 posts of Sub Inspector & Platoon Commander in Rajasthan Police invites applications from February 9, 2021, to March 10, 2021 (12:00 PM), in online mode. The eligible and interested candidates (TSP, Non-TSP both) who are desirous to serve in the Rajasthan Police Department, can apply for the SI/PC Recruitment before the last date.

On Wednesday, the RPSC released the SI/Platoon Commander recruitment advertisement on its official website www.rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Mere obtaining the qualification and appearing in the selection test does not ensure the selection. The candidates will be required to appear for the written test, physical test, and Interview to be organized by the Commission.

Candidates possessing a Graduate degree from a recognized University/Institute will be eligible to apply for the RPSC Rajasthan Police SI & Platoon Commander recruitment 2021. The required eligibility criteria including age criteria, technical qualifications & skills, etc are intimated through the official recruitment advertisement.

Sub-Inspector (AP): 746 posts

Sub Inspector (IB): 64 posts

Platoon Commander- 38 posts

Sub-Inspector (MBC)- 11 posts

RPSC Sub Inspector/ Platoon Commander Required Eligibility:

A candidate should possess a Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent. Should have working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture

Age limit as of 01/01/2022- The age of the candidate should lie between 20 years to 25 years. The relaxation in the upper age limit to be provided to SC/ ST/ EBC/ EBC females from 5-10 years as per the state government rules.

Physical Standard Required:

Height: For candidates belonging to General / OBC/ SC- 168 cm. And Chest (Male): For candidates belonging to General / OBC/ SC- 81 to 86 cms.

Selection Procedure for RPSC SI, PC:

Selection to the Sub Inspector & Platoon Commander posts will be based on Competitive Examination, Physical Standard, and Interview

A written Competitive Examination for the post of Sub Inspector in Section I,II and V for the post of Platoon Commander in Section IV and VI shall be conducted by the Commission at such places and time as may be notified by the Commission on the following pattern- 

• General Hindi- 2 hours, 200 marks
• General Knowledge & General Science- 2 hours-  200 marks
