RGUKT CET Rank Card 2020 Released, Counselling and Reporting at college from 4 January

RGUKT Admission 2020: Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies or RGUKT has released CET rank card 2020 at its website. Candidates who appear for the Common Entrance Test 2020 will be allowed for counselling and reporting at college from 4 January, 2021.

Taking to its official website rgukt.in, University on Thursday issued the CET rank card to the candidates. Candidates who appear for the entrance test held on 5 December for admission to 6 Years integrated B.Tech program with 2 years PUC + 4-year B.Tech can check their rank card using RGUKT CET 2020 hall ticket number.

RGUKT has released counselling schedule for candidates at official website www.rgukt.in. Candidates who appear for the exam can check the detailed schedule of RGUKT CET Counselling, starting with online reporting from 4 January.

RGUKT Common Entrance Test was held on 5 December, 2020 in different cities across the Andhra Pradesh state. Students wishing to get admission to the B.Tech/ 6 Years Integrated B.Tech program (with 2 years PUC + 4-year B.Tech) appear for the RGUKT CET 2020.

Conversion of RGUKT CET marks into GPA for obtaining admission merit rank- The grade points so obtained are used to calculate the Grade Point Average by giving 50% weightage to Mathematics, 25% each to Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences. A deprivation score of 0.4 is added to the candidates studied in Government Schools. Merit ranks are arrived from the GPA of the candidates after adding deprivation score. A sample calculation is show below-

GPA = Grade point in Mathematics x 0.5 + Grade point in Physical Sciences x 0.25 + Grade point in Biological Sciences x 0.25.

How to check RGUKT CET Rank Card, Explained: 

Go to the website of the RGUKT AP website

Visit to the 'RGUKT Admission 2020' portal.

Click on 'RGUKT CET 2020 Rank Card' link

Enter RGUKT CET hall ticket number and Date of Birth.

Click on 'Submit', Rank card will generate.

Following the schedule and determing the rank, RGUKT on December 24 releases the Rank Card. Earlier, RGUKT AP declared the IIIT Entrance exam results on 12th of December. Here is direct link to check- Rank card.

University admission department has also released schedule for the admission certificate verification and Phase 1 Counselling for AY 2020-21. It has also released on 24th December a merit list of other than Special Categories (PH/CAP/NCC/Sports).

RGUKT Admissions 2020 - Counselling Schedule

Counselling will commence from 4th January, 2021, a detailed schedule for the Counselling and reporting, has been released at rgukt.in. Candidates will be allowed for reporting in two sessions, according to the general merit rank range. On 04 January 2021 in Morning session Reporting time would be 8:00 AM for all Categories (OC, BC, SC, ST and EWS) from rank 1-200, wheras, in afternoon session reporting time would be at 12:00 noon for rank between 201 and 400.
