The big-budget Maha Samudram directed by Ajay Bhupathi and starring Sharwanand and Siddharth will be released in a large number of theaters in the Telugu states on the 14th of this month as a Dusherra gift for the fans. The heroes and heroines of this movie are expected to bring a large number of audiences to the theatres. 

It had been reported that the director initially approached Samantha for the role of Aditya Rao Hydari in the film. However, Samantha dropped out of the film due to some personal reasons.

It is known that the movie starring the duo of Sharwanand and Samantha, 'Jaanu' was recently released. Despite the positive reviews, the movie Janu did not get any collections at the box office. Sharwanand and Samantha also failed to impress the audience. For that reason, Samantha did not agree to act in the movie Mahasamudram despite liking the story and the character.

Samantha has been in the news frequently in recent times due to controversies related to personal matters. Although Samantha has been active on social media since the announcement of her divorce, she is yet to say the real reason for her divorce.
