RBI Security Guard jobs 2021: Apply for 241 posts in Reserve Bank of India, before Feb 12

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) invites applications from eligible ex-servicemen candidates for 241 posts of Security Guards in various offices of the Bank. RBI has released the recruitment notification for the posts of Security Guard. A total of 241 posts will be filled in branches of the Bank spread across the country.

The eligible candidates can apply online at opportunities.rbi.org.in by filling in all the required details in the Application form. Willing and eligible ex-servicemen can apply for these 241 Security Guard post from January 22, 2021, to February 12, 2021. Candidates shortlisted will be called for an online examination by the RBI.

RBI Security Guard vacancy details & description: Out of the total 241 vacancies as many as 113 posts are reserved for General, 45 for OBC, 18 for EWS, 32 for SC, and 33 for the ST category.

The Candidates can apply online at opportunities.rbi.org.in for the security guard post. The applicant must be an Ex-serviceman. The detailed notification regarding the RBI Security Guard Recruitment 2021 is made available at the website rbi.org.in.

Eligibility conditions: The candidate should have a class 10 or matriculation certificate from any recognized state or central board of education. t. Ex-servicemen who have passed the qualifying examination from outside the recruitment zone either before or after leaving the military service are also eligible.

The normal age limit of 25 years (28 years for OBC and 30 years for SC/ST as per category relaxation provided by the Government of India) as of January 01, 2021

Selection Process: The Online Test (Tentative) will be held in the month of February/March 2021. The online test could be conducted on a weekday or weekend. RBI reserves the right to modify the number of days and dates of test depending on the number of applicants. Selection of candidates at the Security Guard post will be on the basis of written examination. Questions related to Reasoning, English, Numerical Ability will be asked in the written examination. 

The exam will be of total 100 marks. There will be no negative marking in any examination. Candidates who have passed the RBI 2021 Security Guard written examination will have to appear for the physical examination.

Important dates: The online application process has begun on 22 January 2021. The last date for the online application process is defined as 12 February 2021. The online written test will be held between February to March 2021, official advertisement reads.
