Randeep Hooda is glad to be the first Indian male actor doing a Hollywood action film, and therefore the Bollywood star says it feels great to be ready to break stereotypical references of Indian characters within the West. Randeep is entering Hollywood as Saju in Netflix's 'Extraction', starring (Thor) Chris Hemsworth and David Harbour. Randeep has stepped out of his comfort zone to form an action-packed entry within the West.

Netflix's much-awaited film Extraction's release Today. Chris Hemsworth, who became a Thor in Marvel's Avengers series, is the hero of the film and has come out in the field against him, Randeep Hooda, a famous actor who describes himself as a Jat of Rohtak. Randeep still suffers the pain of Battle of Saragarhi and now his dream is to screen the character of the most popular rebel, Sultana dacoit in India.

In a special conversation with the News portal, Randeep explains, 'It has not been easy to work for Extraction. By the way, I am a Jat of Rohtak. I wrote a read in a sports school. They used to make rails there from five o'clock in the morning. But, the action is another thing for the film. And, I had to prepare a lot to do a film action like Hollywood Extraction. Had to undergo a lot of training. How to punch, how to hook? Everyone was trained. Secondly, their system is fixed every minute to minute. The work which is to be started at that time will start at that time itself.'

Apart from timeliness, what are the other things that Hindi cinema should learn from Hollywood? Randeep says, 'We are also doing a good job and our cinema is no longer behind them in any way. Slowly we too will reach there. Just a little improvement is needed in the system, that too will happen over time.' Randeep is very appreciative of his fellow artist Rudraksha Jaiswal and also believes that whatever he could have had a lot of fun at the time of shooting was with Rudraksha. The rest was always on a set of technicians from all over the world.

It was a long time when Randeep Hooda made up his mind to make a film on the famous rebel Sultana bandit of Uttar Pradesh. What happened about that? Randeep's facial expressions change when asked. He says, 'Yes, I have to do this film too. The Battle of Saragarhi took a lot of time. But, I want to play the role of a dacoit once. I have a great desire to work on this character. I want to start working on it again soon.'

Randeep Hooda's film Extraction is simultaneously releasing worldwide on Netflix on Friday. The TV premiere of his film Love Aaj Tak is also happening on 26 April. After this, he will appear in Salman Khan's much-talked-about film Radhe-Your Most Wanted Bhai.
