Rajasthan Home Department, has released the recruitment notification on 2500 Home Guard vacancies. Rajasthan Home Department invites online applications for the post of Home Guard. Rajasthan Home Department starts online application process for the recruitment to the post of Home Guard. Eligible and interested candidates can, now, apply for Rajasthan Home Guard Posts through online mode from 10 June 2020 to 9 July 2020.
The Recruitment notification is published for filling up 2500 vacant posts of Home Guard volunteers in various companies of various District Training Centers / Sub Centers and Border Battalions of Rajasthan Home Guard under the provisions contained in the Rajasthan Home Defense Act 1963 and rules passed under it.
Earlier, Rajasthan Home Guard Department has postponed the online application process due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and nation-wise lockdown. Rajasthan Home Guard Notification was published on 04 March 2020 and the online application was supposed to be started from today i.e. 07 April 2020. The last date for filling the Rajasthan Home Guard online application was 06 May 2020.
Eligibility Criteria for Home Guard Post
Candidates should have passed Class 8th standard. Candidates who are 8th class passed are eligible to apply for Rajasthan Home Guard Recruitment 2020. Age Limit- Age of applicants should lie between 18 to 35 Years, as on last date of application.
Selection Process
The selection of the successful applicants will be done on the basis of Written Exam, Physical Test, Medical Test and Document Verification.
