Punjabi University Patiala Blended Mode Exam 2021-22; Check Meaning, Guidelines & Hall Ticket Update

Punjabi University Patiala will conduct blended mode exams for UG and PG Semester courses. The university has issued the blended mode exam guidelines on its official website punjabiuniversity.ac.in. The exam hall ticket of blended mode papers will be issued shortly.

Punjabi University has decided to hold the semester exams for various courses in a blended mode means in online and offline mode. The examinations of the December 2021 session for UG & PG courses will now be held in blended mode following the guidelines issued by the university. Earlier, this year Punjabi University conducted the March 2021 session exams in the same way. Students who have filled in their examination forms now can check the exam guidelines, date sheet, and availability of the hall tickets. 

Punjabi University issued exam-related guidelines for the same and gave the authority to respective departments to allow or disallow students from taking the exams, which are going to start from December 14, 2021.

The university will conduct odd semester exams (except semester 1) of all courses, from December 15 through online-offline blended mode. The exams of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be of four hours duration, including two hours for uploading answer sheets. Students will have to attempt 50 percent question paper.

The university will hold the semester exams for the students of BEd, MEd, LLB, BA LLB, BCom LLB, MCom, MA, MBA, MSc, B.Tech, M.Tech, MPT, and other courses. Apart from conducting the online exams for selected courses, the university has further allowed all departments and colleges to distribute question papers, hold the exams and check answer sheets. In this row, the heads of the departments have been asked to depute nodal officers to look after students' queries and keep a record of answer sheets submitted by the students.

The university said all question papers would be provided to nodal officers as per the date sheet. Students will get question papers through various online modes. The university has decided to hold the exams in two sessions of four hours each from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The students are expected to answer only half of the question paper.

The students will be able to write their answers to the question in 2:30 hours, while they have been given 1.30 hours to download, scan and upload the answer sheets. They can also submit their answer sheets at the nearest departments, constituent colleges, and neighborhood campuses.

Punjabi University Blended Mode Exams: Blended Meaning

As the students are found confused over the blended mode exams. It is hereby clarified that the 'blended mode' means it will comprise of two modes - Online mode and Offline mode. In the case of Punjabi University Patiala, the exams for some selected courses will be conducted in computer-based mode as well as on pen-paper mode. Hall ticket of the exams will be issued online at the university examination portal.

For March 2021 session the university allowed students to send their answer sheets via speed post. The departments were directed to check the students’ answer sheets within a week and submit them on the university’s website.
