Puducherry Police Constable Admit Card 2022 Out @recruitment.py.gov.in, Site Goes Down, Download Link Here

Puducherry Police has released the Police Constable Admit Card 2022 on the official website recruitment.py.gov.in. Candidates who have been declared eligible for the written examination can now download their Puducherry Police Constable exam admit cards. The written examination will take place in January 2022.

To download the Puducherry Police Constable admit card, the eligible candidates need to visit the website recruitment.py.gov.in and then log in with their Application Number and the Date of Birth. Candidates have to verify all the information related to their application and confirm their mobile number before downloading the admit card.

It should be noted that the date, time, and venue of the examination are mentioned for each candidate in the Puducherry Police-issued admit card. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must download and print their admit cards. Further, the candidates are asked to follow all safety norms of COVID19 prevention such as wearing masks, use of hand sanitizers, social distancing, and personal hygiene during the conduct of the test.

When accessed, it is found that the website link to access the Puducherry Police admit card was down. The page was reported showing, "Service Unavailable- HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable" on the screen. Hence the candidates are advised to keep a regular check on the site and access their admit cards once it is accessible.

Puducherry Police Constable, Radio Technician, and Deck Handler written examination will be conducted in all the four regions of the Union Territory. The examination will take place in offline and OMR-based mode at the designated centres. A total 100 multiple-choice type questions will be asked in the Constable examination.

Earlier, the physical standards test and physical efficiency test for recruitment to the posts of Police Constable, Radio Technician, and Deck Handler in the Police Department, Government of Puducherry were held on November 04, 2020.

Out of the total number of 16,335 applications received for the post of Police Constable, 13,951 Candidates were provisionally eligible to appear for the physical efficiency test. Similarly, 229 Candidates out of the total 254 applications received for the post of Radio Technician, and 588 Candidates out of the total 636 applications received for the post of Deck Handler were provisionally eligible for the recruitment.
