PSSSB Clerk Answer Key 2022 Released @sssb.punjab.gov.in, Check Expected Cut off & Result Date

Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) has released Clerk answer key 2021 along with the students' answer sheet on the official website sssb.punjab.gov.in. The candidates who appeared in PSSSB Clerk, Clerk (IT), and Clerk (Accounts) Advt 17 to 19 of 2021 can now check and download their answer keys online. The examination for Clerk (IT) Clerk (Accounts) was conducted on December 11, 2021. While the OMR-based examination for the Clerk post was held on December 12, 2021.

As per the reports, the examination was divided into four paper booklet codes A, B, C, and D. The offline examination consisted of 120 multiple-choice questions that had to be answered on OMR sheets. It was reported that the examination for Clerk posts was moderate, while exams for Clerk IT and Clerk Accounts were reported moderate to difficult in level.   

Once the response sheets are finalized, PSSSB shall prepare the result by deciding the category-wise cut-off marks. The announcement regarding the result will be made on the official website likely by January-end. However, there has been no official date regarding the result yet.

PSSSB Clerk Answer Key 2021: Step-by-step process to check

Step 1: Visit the official website sssb.punjab.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the link ”Click Here to download OMR Sheet and Provisional Answer Key for the exam dated 11 and 12 December 2021 regarding Advertisement No. 17 of 2021, 18 of 2021, and 19 of 2021″, in the ”Current News” Section.

Step 3: Click on ‘Retrieve your OMR Answer Sheet (Clerk - IT)’ or ‘Retrieve your OMR Answer Sheet (Clerk – Accounts)’ or ‘Retrieve your OMR Answer Sheet (Clerk)’.

Step 4: Click on the appropriate answer key for the post of Clerk Accounts, Clerk IT, and Clerk

Step 5: Next, select Set A, B, C, or D Answer Key

Step 6: Paper booklet code-wise answer key will display in a pdf file. Download that for reference.

The category-wise cut-off marks will be released alongside the result notification on the official website of PSSSB. The cut-off will be decided based on various factors such as the number of category-wise vacant posts, the number of candidates who attended the examination, the score obtained by the last candidate, the difficulty of the question paper, etc. Here are the expected Cut off marks for Clerk posts- General- 80 to 85, SC- 72 to 77, BC- 70 to 75, EWS- 66 to 70, PWD- 55 to 62, etc.

The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board is conducting a recruitment drive to fill a total of 3169 vacant posts of Clerk, Clerk IT, and Clerk Accounts against advt numbers 17, 18, and 19. The application process for the same was started on October 23, 2021. The last date to submit the application was November 26, 2021.
