ONGC Accountant, Apprentice Jobs 2020: 4182 posts, Apply before 17 August

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has released engagement notification on 4182 posts of Apprentices in various centre/ locations. ONGC releasing 4182 posts of Accountant, Computer Operator, Library Assistant, Trade Apprentice & other posts, invite online Applications. Applications are invited from candidates meeting the qualifications for engagement as Apprentices under Apprentices Act 1961 in the trade/disciplines including Accountant, Assistant HR, Electrician, Fitter, Instrument Mechanic, Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant), Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Mechanic Diesel, Surveyor & others.

ONGC Accountant & Apprentice Jobs 2020

ONGC invites online applications for the recruitment of various posts of apprentices in different trade/departments on its official website. The recruitment drive on 4182 vacancies of Accountant, Trade Apprentice, Library Assistant & other posts is open till August 17, 2020. Zone wise Vacancies Distribution:

• Western Sector- 1579 vacancies  

• Mumbai Sector- 764 posts 

• Eastern Sector- 716 posts 

• Southern Sector- 674 posts 

• Northern Sector- 228 posts and  

• Central Sector- 221 posts 

Educational Qualification: ITI Certificate in respective trade. For posts including Accountant, Assistant HR candidates should have passed Graduate Degree from recognized University. (For post wise eligibility criteria, candidates required to visit official website. 

Age Limit: A candidate should be between 18 to 24 years old. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates for the trades reserved for them. 

Selection Process: Selections for engagement of Apprentices would be based on the basis of marks obtained and Merit drawn.

Apply Online: Candidates meeting the above prescribed eligibility criteria should visit our ONGC website www.ongcapprentices.ongc.co.in and apply online from 29.07.2020 (11:00 hrs till 17.08.2020 by 18:00 hours).

Before applying for above apprentices' positions, candidates have to first register themselves in online portals of the following agencies of Govt. of India: For Trade Apprentices- at (apprenticeshipindia.org) (Trades mentioned in Sl. No 1 to 19). After successful registration with the above agencies, a registration number will be generated and the candidate has to mention this registration number while applying for apprentices positions in ONGC website www.ongcapprentices.ongc.co.in.

Important Dates: Issue of advertisement and call for applications- 29th July 2020 at www.ongcapprentices.ongc.co.in. The last date for receiving of applications is 17th August 2020 18:00 hrs. Date of Result/ Selection is 24th August 2020 and candidates to receive confirmation from 24th August 2020- 1st September 2020.
