MP Open Book Exams 2021: UG, PG Exams in June-July, Date Sheet Soon

The Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department has released an official notice regarding the UG, PG Open Book Exams 2021. Department has stated that the UG final year exams and PG fourth semester exams will be conducted in June and the result for the same will be announced in July. Whereas, Open Book exams for first, second year for UG and second semester exams for PG courses to be held in July 2021. The result will be declared in August 2021.

Amid rising demands of the students to either postpone or cancel the exams, state Higher Education Department took this decision. Madhya Pradesh government has decided to conduct open book exams for undergraduate and postgraduate exams for all classes in June and July months. The examination for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year UG courses and 2nd and 4th semester of PG courses will be conducted in open book mode.

The decision to opt for this mode is taken due to the rise in COVID19 cases across the country. Earlier, Union Education Ministry had directed Central Agencies to postpone all exams of May 2021 due to the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic.

All state Universities shall issue the date sheet for Open Book Exams (OBE) 2021 on the respective websites. Hall ticket of June/July 2021 exams shall be issued before four to ten days of the commencement of the exams. Students should keep visiting the University websites from time to time to check latest update regarding the MP OBE exams 2021.
