MHT CET 2021 Answer Key: September 23 Shift 1 Paper Analysis, Experts' Views

Maharashtra CET Cell conducts MHT CET 2021 (PCM) exam on Thursday, September 23 for the third consecutive day. The computer-based test for 1st shift is now over at all the centers across Maharashtra. The candidates who appear for MHT CET on September 23, 2021, can check the paper analysis, unofficial answer key of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, after the examination is over.

According to the responses provided by candidates, MHT CET 2021 exam consisted of multiple-choice questions from PCM. The question papers carried a total of 150 questions. As many as 100 questions were asked from Mathematics, 50 questions each from Physics and Chemistry subjects. The candidates had to attempt all the questions in a time duration of 180 minutes. 

According to the feedback from the candidates, 10 questions were asked from the Class 11th syllabus, whereas, 40 questions were based on the Class 12th syllabus. In Mathematics subject, the maximum number of marks that can be allotted to a candidate is 100, whereas, in Physics and Chemistry, 50 marks. The level of the MHT CET is at par with the JEE (Main) paper 1.

MHT CET September 23 Analysis: Shift 1

Physics: A total of 50 questions were asked from topics including Units & Measurements, Scalars, and Vectors Quantity, Force, Friction in solids and liquids, Refraction of Light, Ray optics, Magnetic effect of Electric Current, Magnetism, Communication system, etc.

Chemistry: Questions in this section were asked from topics including- States of Matter: Gases and liquids, Redox reaction, Surface Chemistry, Nature of chemical bond, Hydrogen, s-Block elements (Alkali and alkaline earth metals), Basic principles & techniques in Organic Chemistry, Alkanes, etc.

Mathematics- Questions in this section asked from topics including Matrices & Determinant, Pair of Straight Lines, Circle, Conics, Trigonometric Functions, Vectors, 3 Dimensional Geometry, Plane, Linear Programming Problems, Continuity, Applications of Derivative, Integration, Differentiation, Applications of Definite Integral, Differential Equation, Probability, Bernoulli Theorem, etc.

The state common entrance test cell has scheduled to conduct MHT CET (PCM) 2021 in two shifts i.e Morning shift from 09:00 AM to 12:00 AM and the Afternoon shift from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM. The paper analysis of 2nd shift will be available after the examination is over. The official answer key, however, will be displayed on the website cetcell.mahacet.org.
