Maja Ma Story

According to the trailer, Ritwik Bhowmik's character discusses his family and how, with the exception of his "perfect" mother, everyone is a little dysfunctional. We then encounter Madhuri's mother Pallavi Patel, a normal middle-class Gujarati woman who teaches dance. Ritwik's character is shown falling in love with an NRI girl, and after much drama, her wealthy parents agree to the union.

However, a bad rumor about Pallavi on the eve of the engagement causes things to fall apart, pushing her to face her history and search within to realize that she is much more than just the labels she has been given—mother, wife, sister—and that she is much more than just those.

Maja Ma will start streaming on Prime Video on October 6.
