Locals of Niti village reach to India-Tibet border, say ready to assist Indian Army

Uttarakhand: Locals of Niti village on Friday protested against China over mutilation of Indian Soldiers in violent stand-off in Galwan Valley. Villagers of Niti Village near India-Tibet border in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand came in support of Indian Army over the clash with Chinese PLA which happened on Monday night. The violent stand-off resulted the double digit casualties on both sides, as Indian media outlets claim of 35 to 43 PLA soldiers and 20 Indian Army soldiers died during clash at border.

As News Agency ANI reported, locals of Niti village near India-Tibet border protested against the Chinese PLA and said they are ready to assist Indian Army in any situation. During the interaction with News Agency a villager said, "We are pained to hear about the loss of lives of our soldiers in Galwan Valley. We are ready to assist the Indian Army in any situation."

Niti Village lies in Chamoli District of Uttarakhand State. The Niti Village Post Office is the last of India at North-Eastern Border. On Friday the villagers came in support of Indian Army after they heard Chinese People Liberation clashed with soldiers of Indian Army in Galwan Valley in at India-China border. The clash took place in Monday night which resulted casualties on both sides, as See Latest reported. Indian Army confirmed the martyrs name & numbers on the following day, whereas Chinese media refused to do so.
