Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has declared the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2021 result. The candidates who appear for the KCET 2021 can check their results online at cet.karnataka.gov.in. According to the reports, KCET 2021 result has been declared at 2:30 pm by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The result can be checked online after 3:30 pm from the official site kea.kar.nic.in.
In order to check the KCET 2021 result, candidates need to visit the website kea.kar.nic.in. Thereafter, have to click on a UGCET-2021 result link on the "Latest Announcement" section. Upon login, a new window will open. To check the result, the candidate's roll number and other login credentials are required. The final submission of credentials will display KCET scorecards. All the candidates have to cross-check the details printed in the result file, before taking a printout of the same.

The qualified candidates are eligible for KCET Counselling for admissions to Engineering, Agriculture, Medical, and Pharmacy courses in participating colleges. The counseling process will begin in the first week of October, however, the detailed schedule of the same will be released in due course of time.
Those who qualify for the KCET 2021 will be called for a counseling session which includes document verification and fee payment. Initially, they have to fill and lock their choices of college and courses in the Counselling form. The successful candidates will be allotted seats purely on the basis of merit through several counseling rounds.

Earlier, the KCET 2021 examination was held on August 28-30, 2021 at over 580 examination centers in Karnataka. Based on a media report, a total of 2,01,834 aspirants had registered for the KCET this year. Of the total, approximately 1.93 students appeared for Physics and Chemistry papers. The test was based on the first and second-year PUC syllabus.
On September 1, the authority displayed the provisional answer keys of the KCET-2021 on the official website. Candidates were asked to file objections if any, through the online portal only from Sep 02-04, 2021. Later, the last date for marks entry was extended to September 18.
