Jammu & Kashmir Jobs for Domiciles| 10,000 vacancies for Class 3-4, Doctors & Panchayat Assistant in June

Jammu and Kashmir Administration has notified over 10,000 new jobs for J&K Domiciles. According to J&K Admin spokesperson an accelerated recruitment on 10,000 Class 3 and Class 4 posts for domiciles will begin in June 2020. The recruitment will take place at all levels- including Doctors, vets, Panchayat Accounts Assistants & Class-IV employees, said spokesperson of J&K Administration. Jammu and Kashmir administration has prepared detailed draft for recruitment on more than 10,000 vacancies for Domiciles in Union Territory & likely to commence recruitment in June 2020 for various posts including Class 3 & 4, Doctors, Vets, Panchayat Account Assistant & others. The official spokesperson said that chairing a high level meet at the Raj Bhavan here today to review the progress made for accelerated recruitments at various levels in the government with particular focus on Class-IV and Class-III vacancies, LG Murmu emphasized on simplification of recruitment procedures and maintaining transparency to ensure faster and flawless recruitments.

Based on report the Accelerated Recruitment Committee led by Navin K. Choudhary submitted its preliminary proposals before the Union Territory administration for recruitment to over 10,000 posts, an official spokesperson on Friday said. Spokesperson said that Jammu & Kashmir Administration led committee had completed its work for finalizing 10,000 Class 3 & 4 level Government Jobs for Domiciles at an ‘unprecedented speed’ in less than 10 days.

Recently the Jammu & Kashmir LG directed Administration over commencement of selection process for first phase of 10,000 plus posts for domiciles. LG directed committee that Recruitment process should commence immediately in June 2020. This would send a strong signal that the Government is seized of the unemployment situation and is determined to address it, Spokesperson said on Friday. Further, frontloading of selections for departments like Health and Medical Education Department where 3000 vacancies are going to be filled up will also strengthen the health infrastructure which is very critical in time of COVID-19, Murmu said.

Accordingly, it was decided that additional marks would be given as weightage to candidates of a district for District Cadre posts to ensure that candidates from other districts do not take away these posts, the official spokesperson said.

Jammu & Kashmir 10000 Jobs Application Form

For the recruitment on 10000 vacancies for Domiciles in Jammu & Kashmir process for application form submission shall begin in June 2020. For this, a self-attested affidavit will be submitted at the time of application which will be verified and confirmed by the respective SDMs upon selection and before joining. Further, the Domicile Certificate would be required only after a candidate gets selected to a particular post, and not at the time of applying for the same, the official spokesperson added.

It is informed that 2000 posts of Panchayat Accounts Assistants, more than 1000 posts of Doctors and about 100 posts of Veterinarians are also ready for commencement of selection process. Earlier, Choudhary informed in the meeting that the departments have submitted vacancies of more than 11000 Class-IV posts. He said that the scrutiny in terms of Recruitment Rules and proper division among all categories is ongoing and around 7000 posts across 19 departments have been identified which will be advertised in first phase very soon.

Post Preference

Spokesperson of Jammu and Kashmir Administration on May 22 said that for Divisional level posts, the candidate of a particular division will get preference.  However, for UT level posts, he said there will be free and fair open competition among all the eligible candidates of the Union Territory. Highlighting the feature of the recruitment, the official spokesperson said that in order to ensure just and fair representation, weightage would be given in forthcoming recruitment to Class-IV vacancies to widows, destitutes, divorced women, and single mothers and candidates of those families from where there is no family member (parents or siblings) in Government Job.

Selection Process-

There will be a common entrance test and no interview at all for Class-III and Class-IV vacancies, as per official spokesperson said. Additional marks would be given as weightage to candidates of a district for District Cadre posts to ensure that candidates from other districts do not take away these posts.
