Indian Army MNS Nursing Admission 2022; Online Application Expected To Start Soon @joinindianarmy.nic.in

Director-General of Military Services, Indian Army (DGMS) is expected to soon release the Military Nursing Services (MNS) Examination 2022 on the official website- joinindianarmy.nic.in. According to the media reports, the MNS Nursing application form shall likely begin in February 2022. 

It should be noted by the candidates that the Indian Military MNS examination is conducted every year to select interested and qualified individuals to work as nurses in the Indian Army. Previously, Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) was conducting the examination and on the basis of performance in exam and merit, the selection was made.

In 2021, DGMS released the MNS application form on the website joinindianarmy.nic.in. The notification was released on February 17, 2021. The last date to submit the application form was March 10, 2021. The exam, however, was conducted in July 2021 due to the second wave of COVID-19. In the case of 2020, the MNS application form began on November 14, 2019. 

MNS Application Form 2022 Dates:

As the candidates are looking for MNS application form 2022 release date, the official information regarding MNS 2022 application form is still awaited. Amid this, several reports highlight that the MNS application forms may be released shortly. However, some differ with the opinion that applications shall likely commence in February next year. So, it is presumed that the application process may begin around January end or the first half of February 2022.

Once the MNS Nursing 2022 notification is released, the female candidates will have to register on the portal and generate their login credentials.

MNS Nursing Eligibility Conditions:

Nationality - Must be a citizen of India

Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed M.Sc (Nursing), PB B Sc (Nursing)/B Sc(Nursing) from INC recognized University and be a registered Nurse and Midwife from a State Nursing Council (The candidate will be required to bring original and self-attested copies of mark sheet, passing certificate, and valid State Registration certificate at the time of interview).

Age Limit: The age of the applicants should be between 21 to 35 years. For reserved category candidates, relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided.

MNS Nursing Exam Pattern & Selection Process

Only eligible candidates will be called for a written test to be conducted in 2022. The written test of 100 marks will consist of objective-type questions based on Nursing, English language, and General intelligence. There will be no negative marking in the written examination. A required number (not more than 3 times of vacancies) of shortlisted candidates of the written test, in the order of merit will be called for interview during the month of Oct 2016 at Delhi. Thereafter, only the candidates who have cleared the interview will be subjected to Medical Examination.

Candidates selected for grant of SSC in the MNS will be liable to serve for 5 years extendable to a total tenure of 14 (5+5+4) years, anywhere in India in the same way as Military Nursing Service (Regular) Officers of the Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force).
