India Post GDS Recruitment 2021: 2558 posts for 10th Pass, Selection without Examination

India Post has released the 2558 vacancies of Gramin Dak Sevak in Chhattisgarh and Kerala circles. Candidates having 10th or Matric qualification can apply online for GDS Recruitment 2021 at appost.in.

India Post Recruitment 2021 notifications for Chattisgarh & Kerala circles (Cycle III) have been released. For filling 1137 posts in Chhattisgarh and 1421 posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) in Kerala Circle applications are invited. Eligible and interested candidates can registration, pay the application fee & submit their online application on or before 7th April 2021.

Gramin Dak Sevak: The Job Profile of Dak Sevaks will include all functions of viz sale of stamps and stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail and any other duties assigned by Postmaster/Sub Postmaster including IPPB work in the Departmental Post Offices/RM.

Age limit- The minimum and maximum of age for the purpose of engagement to GDS posts shall be 18 and 40 years respectively as on 08.03.2021.

Educational Qualification- Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics, local language and English. And Compulsory knowledge of Local Language- The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard.

India Post GDS Recruitment 2021: Apply Online

Online Registration, Fee Payment & Form Submission has started from 08 March 2021 onwards. The last date for the submission of the application form is 07 April 2021.

Stage 1. Registration Initially candidate has to register at AP Post Portal in the Registration module once per cycle and obtain a unique registration number.

Stage 2. Fee Payment UR/OBC/EWS Male/Trans-man need to make fee payment. In the Case of online payment, if no confirmation is received after the deduction of the amount from the candidate's bank account, candidates can await up to 72 Hours for settlement. Offline payments can be made at any Head Post Office. List of Post Offices is given on the website https://appost.in/gdsonline.

Stage 3. Apply Online Step 1. Fill Application. Step 2. Upload documents. Step 3. Submit Post preferences. Preview and take the printout. Completion of these three steps will only be treated as submission of application.

Application Fee for applying on GDS posts: Applicant belonging to the category UR/OBC/EWS Male/trans-man have to pay a fee of Rs.100/-

Method of Engagement: 

Selection will be made as per the automatically generated merit list as per the rules based on the candidates online submitted application. The method of engagement will continue to be an online engagement process for engagement of all categories of GDS.
