IAF to conduct Airmen Group X Rallies in Haryana, Bihar & Rajasthan, Registration to close on Sept 28

Indian Air Force offers opportunities for Unmarried Male Indian/ Nepalese citizens from the State of Bihar, Haryana and Rajasthan to join as airmen. The recruitment test is for Group ‘X’ (Technical trades) except education instructor trade will be held at different respective state Airmen Selection Centre, Air Force Stations. Pre-Registration for the rally will start at 1100 hrs on 27 September 2020 and will close at 1700 hrs on 28 September 2020 on webportal www.airmenselection.cdac.in.

In view of COVID-19 restrictions and consequent testing constrains, limited candidates can be tested. In case of over subscription, shortlisted candidates based on merit Percentage (%) marks obtained in Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination/ Diploma course (as applicable), would be issued provisional admit cards. Only candidates issued with provisional admit cards are allowed to appear in recruitment rally, reads IAF Official notification. Candidates wil be screened through Physical Fitness Test, Written Test, Adaptability Test- 1 & Adaptability Test - 2.

Recruitment Rally for unmarried male Indian /Nepalese citizens from the state of Bihar, Haryana and Rajasthan to be conducted for the Group X Trades in Indian Air Force. Candidates born between 17 January 2000 and 30 December 2003 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply and appear for the Indian Air Force rally in Patna / Ambala / Jodhpur. For Group ‘X’ Trades (except Education Instructor Trade) passed Intermediate / 10+2 / equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English, are eligible to appear for the IAF Airmen Rally 2020.

IAF Group X Airmen Rally 2020 Online/ Offline Registration for the rally start at 1100 hrs on 27 September 2020 and will close at 1700 hrs on 28 September 2020.

Candidates from the State of Bihar / Haryana / Rajasthan fulfilling the domicile requirements and eligibility conditions are to report as per the date and time mentioned in provisional admit card at the rally venue. The Recruitment Test is not for the selection as Commissioned Officers, Pilots and Navigators, notification adds.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) consists of a 1.6 km run to be completed within 6 minutes 30 seconds. Candidates shall also have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the physical fitness test. Note: Candidates are advised to bring their sports shoes and shorts/ track pant. All candidates who qualify PFT shall under take written test on the same day or subsequent day depending on the local conditions.
