HSSC Patwari, Gram Sachiv, & Canal Patwari Exam Date 2021 Out; Common Test From 26-28 December

HSSC will conduct a common exam for Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv posts on December 26, 27, and 28, 2021. The exam will take place in two shifts from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon and 03:00 PM to 04:30 PM.

Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially released the exam dates of the OMR-based written exam for Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv posts. According to the notice, the common written examination will be held on December 26, 27, and 28, 2021 in two shifts each. HSSC Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv test will be held at various District Headquarters and Sub Divisions of Haryana.

"The Optical Marks Recognition (OMR) sheet-based written examination for the post of Patwari against Advt. No. 07/2019, Category No. 01 of Land Record Department, Haryana, Canal Patwari against Advt. No. 08/2019, Category No. 01 of Irrigation & Water Resources Department, Haryana, and Gram Sachiv, against Advt. No. 9/2019, Category No. 01 of Development & Panchayat Department Haryana to be held on December 26, 27, & 2021 (Tuesday)," the official notice reads.

The commission has decided to conduct a common exam for said posts. The admit card of Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv posts will be released on the commission website i.e. www.hssc.gov.in. The candidates can download the admit cards from the commission website from December 18, 2021, onwards. Candidates who have applied for the said posts are advised to read the instructions on the admit card and follow the same strictly.

Based on the official notice, HSSC Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv exam will comprise 90 multiple choice questions of 90 minutes. The examination will be divided into two parts -

i) 75% weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, Computer, English, Hindi, and Concerned or Relevant Subject, as applicable.

ii) 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture, etc. of Haryana.

Once the HSSC Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv common test result is declared, preferences for posts will be taken from candidates shortlisted for scrutiny through the website of the commission.

Earlier in January 2021, HSSC conducted the Gram Sachiv examination which was later canceled due to the paper leak. Thereafter, it is the first intimation regarding the examination for the Group-C post in Haryana.
