HSSC Patwari And Gram Sachiv Exams 2021 Postponed Due to Clash ! Check New Exam Dates Here

The written examination for the post of Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv posts will be conducted on January 07, 08, and 09, 2021 instead of December 26, 26, 28. The admit card will be released on January 01, 2022.

Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has postponed the Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv Written Examination from December 2021 to January 2022. According to the official notice, the written examination for said posts will be held on January 07, 08, and 09, 2022. Earlier, the exam was supposed to be held from December 26 to 28 but due to the clash with CBSE exams, the same stands postponed.

The state commission has further revised the date of admit card release for the posts of Haryana Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv. The admit card will now be released on January 01, 2022, on the commission's website hssc.gov.in. However, other terms & conditions of notice dated November 03, 2021, will remain same and may be read as part of the earlier notice, says the commission.

Candidates who have applied for the post of Patwari against Advt. No. 07/2019, of Land Record Department Haryana, Canal Patwari against Advt. No. 08/2019, of Irrigation & Water Resources Deptt., Haryana and/ or Gram Sachiv, against Advt. No. 9/2019, Cat. No. 01 of Development & Panchayat Department Haryana, can check the revised schedule of examination.

The written examination (combined) for the said posts will be conducted at designated centers in various Districts H.Q. and Sub Divisions of Haryana. The OMR-based written exam will be held in two shifts from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon and from 03:00 PM to 04:30 PM. The reporting for the first shift will commence at 08:30 AM while for the second one the entry time is 01:00 pm.

Important details including exam city, center, exam shift, candidate's roll number, and COVID-19 related guidelines for the HSSC Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv exam will be intimated through the candidate's admit card, scheduled to be released on Jan 01, 2022.

Earlier, HSSC withdrew its decision to implement the 'Yes' or 'No' option for students intending to appear in the common examination. The decision was taken back after the commission cited the glitches in the technical module.

According to the proposed exam pattern, the combined exam will comprise 90 MCQs. Candidates will be given a time duration of 90 minutes to attempt all the questions. The weightage of the questions will be i) 75% weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, Computer, English, Hindi, and Concerned or Relevant Subject, as applicable and ii) 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture, etc. of Haryana.
